For institutions, organizations and
persons directly involved or interest in the field of paralegal
education, there are five classifications of membership in the American
Association for Paralegal Education. They are Institutional, Associate,
Affiliate, Sustaining and Individual. The sixth type of membership,
Honorary, is by election only. Each of the available memberships
is described below and linked to the appropriate downloadable application.
The membership fee structure is also shown.

Membership Dues Rates
Dues for membership in the American Association for Paralegal
Education (AAfPE) are on a calendar year basis and are payable
by January 1 of each year. Invoices will be sent to all current
members by AAfPE Headquarters staff during the fall of the preceding
year. Dues may be paid by check, VISA, MasterCard or American
Express.
All applications for new membership must have the required fees attached.
No application for new membership will be approved until the applicable
fees have been paid.
Please see the pro-rated dues table for applications submitted
during the calendar year. Where applications are made part-way
through the year, an allowance is made to adjust dues for the
first year of membership, if approved. Please base your dues remittance
on this table.
